IHC grants Imran protective bail till Thursday in terrorism case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) boss Imran Khan was conceded a pre-capture bail till August 25 by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday in the wake of being reserved under psychological oppression charges.


The bail supplication was heard by Justice Mohsin Akthar Kayani and Justice Babar Sattar, who endorsed the bail and requested him to move toward the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) inside these three days.


Imran's guidance, Babar Awan and Faisal Chaudhry, contended that the PTI boss ought to be allowed defensive bail as he needed to show up before the ATC, however his home was "encompassed by the police".


They further expected that the police staff could capture Imran in the event that he showed up in court without a defensive bail.


The PTI boss' advice expressed that the concerned ATC judge was on leave subsequently, the high court must be drawn closer.
